About Our Family

We're a busy, active family with two wonderful kids (under age 10), a lovable yellow Lab who keeps us on our toes (and leaves plenty of fur behind!), and two parents balancing demanding careers. Between school, after-school activities, work commitments, and everyday life, our weeks move quickly. We genuinely love spending time together and have worked hard to build a home that feels welcoming, organized, and peaceful.

For us, a clean, well-functioning household isn't just a preference — it's what allows our family to feel less stressed and more connected.

Over the years, we've tried just about every solution to stay ahead of household responsibilities, from meal delivery services to in-home cooking. What we've realized is that what we truly need is a proactive, dependable professional who can become a trusted extension of our family. Someone who notices when pantry staples are running low, keeps fresh food ready for the week, manages laundry from start to finish, resets the home each day, and tackles the organizational projects that often get pushed aside.

We'd love for our weekends to be spent making memories with our kids—not catching up on chores.

If you take genuine pride in creating order, love anticipating needs before anyone has to ask, and find satisfaction in a beautifully maintained home, you'll fit right in. We're looking for someone who is organized, self-directed, and professional—someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to help a busy family thrive. While occasional help with the kids or our dog may come up as trust is built, your greatest impact will be giving our family the gift of a home that feels calm, prepared, and ready for whatever the week brings.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

The right person for this role is someone who takes genuine pride in creating a calm, organized home where busy families can thrive. You don't wait to be told what needs attention—you notice it, own it, and take action. Ideally, you bring previous household management or family assistant experience and understand that the greatest value you provide comes from anticipating needs before they become tasks.

  • You are exceptionally proactive. You naturally think three steps ahead, noticing what needs attention before anyone has to ask and taking ownership from start to finish.
  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented. You love creating and maintaining systems, whether that's keeping the pantry stocked, rotating fresh produce, staying ahead of household inventory, or ensuring laundry is completely finished and put away.
  • You have a Type A mindset. You take pride in creating order, consistency, and a home that always feels prepared for the week ahead.
  • You bring ideas, not just execution. You're confident making thoughtful recommendations to improve how the household functions and enjoy finding better, more efficient ways of doing things.
  • You work independently. Once you understand the family's routines and expectations, you don't need daily direction or checklists to stay productive.
  • You are professional and quietly efficient. You're warm, personable, and easy to work with, but you understand this is a professional role. You respect the family's time, value focused work, and know when conversation takes a back seat to getting things done.
  • You are dependable. Being punctual, reliable, and following through on commitments is simply part of who you are.
  • You communicate with professionalism. You're receptive to feedback, communicate clearly,…
