Administrative Assistant
Lafayette Park Conservancy (LPC) was founded to restore and preserve the historic legacy of Lafayette Park, the first developed urban park in the Louisiana Purchase Territory. The LPC was formed in 2001 and operates as a local partner with the City of St. Louis in the administration, improvement, and activation of the park. This relationship was formalized under terms of the 2004 Lafayette Park Master Plan, which still guides the actions of the LPC.
The RoleWe are seeking a flexible, efficient, and tech savvy part‑time Administrative Assistant to support the Executive Director and Board of Directors to amplify the impact of our work. You will step into a role supported by a part‑time Executive Director, an active Board of Directors, and a dedicated parttime Volunteer Coordinator.
Qualifications- Education – A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Technology Experience – Strong computer skills required. Experience with CRM Systems and Quickbooks preferred.
- Assist Executive Director with coordination of all communications including membership appeals, annual giving, Fall and Spring fundraising campaigns, and renewal letters.
- Maintain and manage a database of contacts, including donor prospects, project partners, and other stakeholders.
- Work with the Treasurer to maintain and implement LPC financial management policies and procedures including managing incoming checks, recording and processing donations, verifying donations are updated in Salesforce, and sending acknowledgment letters.
- Assist the Board of Directors and Event Committee(s) with the logistical aspects of event planning.
- Support the Executive Director with administrative tasks.
- A Tech‑Savvy Worker – You excel at computer work, with an ability to figure out new platforms and make quick work of administrative tasks. You are efficient with technology and new tasks come easy.

You are comfortable working independently in a part‑time environment. You set your own pace, manage your schedule effectively, and keep work moving without constant oversight.
- This position is part‑time with the expectation of 5-8 hours/week of work.
- The position is paid hourly at $25/hour.
- Hybrid position structure with flexibility to work both onsite at the Park House and remotely.
- This position will report directly to the Executive Director.
