Job SummaryThe Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff, creating a welcoming and professional environment. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, handling communications, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations.
EducationHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) from an accredited high school.
Licensure / CertificationValid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
ExperienceOne to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience / SkillsIntermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as Outlook email.
Key Responsibilities- Answers all incoming calls and directs to the appropriate person
- File (client chart, medical file, pass packet, vehicle packet, and variance file)
- Typing
- Mail (distribute incoming and outgoing mail)
- Memos (copy and distribute)
- Payroll (helps with distribution of checks, creates distribution list)
- Forms (copies, develops, and revises as needed)
- Schedule appointments as needed
- Oversee faxes (distribute and read faxes daily)
- Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of reception and storage areas, including files
- Types Daily census
Additional duties may be assigned based on organizational needs and staff qualifications.
Physical & Work EnvironmentThe conditions described are representative of those required to perform this role, with reasonable accommodations available. This position involves regular standing, walking, and communication, with frequent use of hands and occasional bending, kneeling, or climbing. The role may require lifting up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 75 pounds occasionally. Standard visual abilities are required. Work is performed in a moderate noise environment with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions.
