Work Environment, Missions, and Activities

You will join a research unit dedicated to the study of herbivores livestock systems and their adaptation to environmental and socio-economic challenges. This structure brings together more than a hundred permanent staff members and welcomes each year numerous doctoral, contractual, and trainee personnel. Organized in research teams and support teams, it manages a substantial budget and a significant volume of administrative operations.

Your position will be attached to the management team. You will mainly intervene in the administrative management of permanent staff, while providing support to the management of non-permanent staff and the collective functioning of the unit. This position is at the heart of the structure's good functioning. Through the quality of your administrative follow-up, your sense of organization, and your support to the management, you will contribute to securing procedures, facilitating collective life, and ensuring a reliable working environment for all staff members.

In this context, you will be in charge of the following activities:
Administrative management of permanent staff
- Ensure the reception, processing, and filing of individual files (part-time, sick leaves, training requests, various authorizations).

- Verify the legal, administrative, and financial compliance of requests in application of the current rules.

- Parameterize and monitor the time management tool (teleworking, part-time, etc.).

- Be in daily contact with the local personnel administration service. Support to the management of non-permanent staff
- Participate in pairs in the follow-up of recruitments and receptions of contractual, doctoral, and trainee staff.

- Contribute to the constitution and follow-up of administrative files.

- Ensure compliance with the recruitment procedures of the Institute.

- Update the human resources management databases. Logistic support and communication
- Organize the logistics of meetings and events (reservation of rooms, equipment, breaks).

- Support the management in the organization of scientific instances and seminars.

- Participate in the internal and external communication of the unit. You will work in close collaboration with the management, the research teams, and the administrative services, in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Qualifications and Skills Required

You have a background in secretarial and/or administrative management. Previous experience in administrative functions, ideally in personnel management, would be appreciated. Know-how:

- Use of office tools and administrative management software.

- Organize the filing and archiving of documents.

- Plan activities and follow deadlines.

- Write clear and structured administrative documents. Know-how:

- Rigor and sense of organization.

- Discretion and respect for confidentiality.

- Sense of service and teamwork.

- Ability to report and adapt to the evolution of tools and procedures.
