Position Summary
The Senior Coordinator supports the Assistant Vice Chancellor (AVC) and a high‑volume communications team that works across University Advancement and our campus to advance key marketing communications priorities. Duties include complex calendaring, budget and expense tracking, travel/meeting/event arrangements, preparation of meeting agendas, management of ARCH and Click‑up activity, and special projects for the AVC. This strategically important position has a huge impact on the productivity of Advancement Communications and on University Advancement’s ability to communicate effectively with alumni, parents, and friends.
Job Description- Primary
Duties & Responsibilities:- Assist AVC with a range of projects, scheduling meetings, paying vendors, budget management, and creative/competitive research.
- Office‑management responsibilities such as project coordination and management.
- Communications responsibilities such as proofreading and creating PowerPoint presentations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications- Education:
Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education. - Certifications/Professional Licenses:
No specific certification/professional license is required for this position. - Work Experience:
Relevant Experience (2 Years) - Driver’s License: A driver’s license is not required for this position.
- Ability to relate well to other staff, administrators, and external university constituencies.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs and mission of Washington University; must understand the importance of university relationships with alumni, parents, and friends.
- A desire to play a meaningful role in the University’s community and to share in the community’s commitment to research and education.
- Knowledge of University Advancement and university systems.
This position is located in St. Louis, MO and the targeted hiring range for this position is $25.47 – $30.00.
