About the Opportunity:
A well-established manufacturing organization is seeking a Manufacturing Administrative Assistant to provide critical administrative support to its plant operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized administrative professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and supporting multiple operational functions.
In this role, you will partner closely with plant leadership to help keep daily operations running efficiently by assisting with purchasing, inventory coordination, production planning, scheduling, and general administrative support. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing a variety of responsibilities in a busy plant environment.
This is an immediate opening created to provide temporary coverage during an employee leave of absence, with the possibility of longer-term opportunities based on business needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to plant leadership and manufacturing operations.
- Assist with purchasing activities, documentation, and vendor communications.
- Support inventory coordination and materials management processes.
- Assist with production scheduling and production planning activities.
- Maintain operational records, reports, and spreadsheets.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments to support day-to-day plant operations.
- Manage office correspondence, filing, and general administrative tasks.
- Assist with special projects and additional administrative responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably within a manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or industrial environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- High attention to detail and strong data entry accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative operations team.
- Experience supporting purchasing, inventory, production, or operations is highly preferred.
- ERP or manufacturing software experience is a plus but not required.

- Approximately 3–4-month temporary assignment supporting a manufacturing facility during a leave of absence.
