Nursing Centralized Scheduler – Department of Mental Health at HCPH

1901 Pennsylvania Ave St. Louis, Mo 63133

Full-Time Monthly Salary: $1,528.32

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:
  • Maintain daily staffing sheets and plan
  • Consistently Analyze staffing needs
  • Organize, print out, and input staffing schedules into Time Clock Plus (TCP) electronic system
  • Oversee annual leave requests per AFSCME contract and facility policies
  • Generate monthly reports
  • Maintain critical staffing records/documents
  • Monitor precaution levels and census to evaluate staffing needs
  • Work collaboratively with the RN Specialist Supervisors, Relief Supervisors and Executive team.
  • Build effective interpersonal relationships with nursing staff
  • Speak publicly when applicable
  • Attend applicable facility meetings
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business math computations, grammar, composition, and spelling.
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer information systems and software.
  • Ability to interpret and apply agency policies and procedures.
  • Ability to review documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the public.
  • Ability to assign, review and evaluate the work of staff.
  • Ability to complete assignments accurately within specified time frames.
  • Ability to develop and implement procedures from general instructions.
  • Ability to multi-task and make quick decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
Experience And Educations Requirements
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in office support work
  • High School diploma or GED
