Nursing Centralized Scheduler – Department of Mental Health at HCPH

Full-Time Monthly Salary: $1,528.32
ResponsibilitiesWhat you’ll do:
- Maintain daily staffing sheets and plan
- Consistently Analyze staffing needs
- Organize, print out, and input staffing schedules into Time Clock Plus (TCP) electronic system
- Oversee annual leave requests per AFSCME contract and facility policies
- Generate monthly reports
- Maintain critical staffing records/documents
- Monitor precaution levels and census to evaluate staffing needs
- Work collaboratively with the RN Specialist Supervisors, Relief Supervisors and Executive team.
- Build effective interpersonal relationships with nursing staff
- Speak publicly when applicable
- Attend applicable facility meetings
- Comprehensive knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of business math computations, grammar, composition, and spelling.
- Intermediate knowledge of computer information systems and software.
- Ability to interpret and apply agency policies and procedures.
- Ability to review documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the public.
- Ability to assign, review and evaluate the work of staff.
- Ability to complete assignments accurately within specified time frames.
- Ability to develop and implement procedures from general instructions.
- Ability to multi-task and make quick decisions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in office support work
- High School diploma or GED
