Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
Job Summary:
The Office Manager oversees daily parish office operations and serves as the primary liaison between St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and Shared Accounting Services (SAS). This position supports the Pastor, staff, parishioners, and volunteers through administrative coordination, financial documentation management, parish communications, and recordkeeping.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily parish office operations and provide excellent customer service.
- Serve as the primary contact for Shared Accounting Services (SAS).
- Submit invoices, reimbursements, payroll changes, deposits, and financial documentation to SAS.
- Assist with offertory counting, budget preparation, and financial record maintenance.
- Review and distribute monthly financial reports as directed.
- Maintain parish calendars, facility reservations, sacramental records, and confidential files.
- Coordinate parish communications, including bulletins, newsletters, and website updates.
- Order office supplies and support parish staff and ministry leaders with administrative needs.
- Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with Archdiocesan policies.
- Communicate effectively with parishioners, volunteers, vendors, and Archdiocesan offices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior experience in office administration, bookkeeping, parish operations, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology.
- Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
- Commitment to the mission and values of the Catholic Church.
- Successful completion of required background checks and Safe Environment training.
