Now Hiring:
Part-time office administrator
St. Paul's Evangelical Free Church is seeking a friendly, organized and ministry-minded office administrator to support the daily operations of our church and help advance our mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ.
Position Overview
The office administrator provides administrative and communication support to our pastors, ministry leaders and congregation. This role helps ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the church office while communicating effectively with our church family and community.
Part-Time:
Up to 32 hours per week
Location:
On-site l's Evangelical Free Church
Reports To:
Lead pastor
- Provide administrative support to pastors and ministry leaders.
- Prepare weekly bulletins, newsletters, slides and other church communications.
- Create simple graphics and promotional materials using Canva or similar design software.
- Maintain church calendars, records and the member directory.
- Assist with church website and digital communications as needed.
- Greet visitors and respond to phone calls and emails.
- Coordinate volunteers assisting with office tasks.
- Manage facility scheduling and support church events.
- Serve as administrator for church management software and office systems.
- Assist with basic property and building coordination as needed.
- A professing Christian who supports the mission and ministry of St. Paul's Evangelical Free Church.
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Friendly, dependable and service-oriented.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and willing to learn church software.
- Experience with Canva or similar graphic design software is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality.
- Experience coordinating volunteers is helpful.
