Location: St. Louis

The Travel Coordinator supports the day-to-day administration and coordination of Duggan Contracting & Carpentry’s (DCC) field workforce. This position serves as the primary administrative partner to the Director of Field Operations by organizing manpower information, maintaining schedules and records, coordinating employee travel and housing, following up on field needs, and turning operational direction into clear and trackable action items.

This role is a strong fit for someone who is highly organized, patient, adaptable, comfortable with changing priorities, and confident in coordinating travel details, vendors, and follow-up across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities Travel & Housing Coordination
  • Serve as the primary administrative contact for approved field travel and long-term housing requests.
  • Maintain the central travel mailbox, travel request process, travel calendar, and travel tracker.
  • Coordinate flights, hotels, and rental vehicles through DCC's approved travel platform and vendors.
  • Coordinate long-term housing, including property research, pricing comparisons, deposits, utilities, furnishings, parking, move-in details, extensions, and move-out.
  • Maintain accurate traveler itineraries, housing records, lease dates, home-travel schedules, expense coding and vendor information.
  • Coordinate changes, cancellations, extensions, and travel disruptions within established company procedures.
  • Track housing condition reports, maintenance concerns, damage documentation, deposits, and final property invoices.
  • Escalate policy exceptions, unusual costs, employee concerns, and unresolved vendor issues to the appropriate leader.
  • Maintain working relationships and account information for DCC's approved travel and housing vendors.
  • Support administration of AmTrav, including traveler profiles, reporting, service concerns, unused ticket credits, and booking requirements.
  • Coordinate with Enterprise and National regarding company accounts, reservations, driver enrollment, billing questions, service issues, and vehicle availability.
  • Maintain preferred hotel, airline, long-term housing, landlord/property management, and furnishing vendor information.
  • Assist leadership and Accounting with periodic reviews of travel spending, vendor utilization, service quality, and policy compliance.
Field Operations Support
  • Track upcoming project starts, project completions, employee transfers, home-travel schedules, and other field staffing needs.
  • Support field employee onboarding, mobilization, reassignment, and demobilization logistics as assigned.
  • Serve as the primary administrative support partner to the Director of Field Operations.
  • Organize priorities, meeting notes, open items, deadlines, and follow-up responsibilities.
  • Help establish and maintain standard procedures for travel requests, approvals, exceptions, housing, reimbursements, and field communication.
What We're Looking For
  • Travel coordination experience is strongly preferred; construction industry experience is not required.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
  • Patient, professional, and able to work with changing plans and a variety of personalities.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong computer skills and confidence learning travel platforms, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and shared tracking systems.
  • Good understanding of travel logistics, including flights, hotels, rental vehicles, long-term housing, and itinerary changes.
  • Comfortable receiving feedback, asking questions, and following up when information is missing.
  • Strong culture fit and a practical, service-minded approach.
