We are seeking a detail‑oriented Travel Assistant to coordinate and manage travel arrangements for our internal staff. This role involves booking flights, hotels, and rental cars while ensuring compliance with company policies and budget guidelines. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and problem‑solving skills to handle itinerary changes, track expenses, and provide seamless travel support. Prior experience in travel coordination, administration, or scheduling is preferred but not required.
ResponsibilitiesAnd Duties
- Coordinate and arrange travel, including flights, hotels, and rental cars for employees.
- Ensure compliance with company travel policies, budget guidelines, and preferred vendor lists.
- Maintain travel documentation, itineraries, and schedules, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Assist employees with travel‑related issues, including changes to bookings, cancellations, and problem resolution.
- Track and manage travel budgets, expenses, and reporting.
- Stay current with industry trends, travel restrictions, and best practices to ensure efficient travel planning.
- Ensure that all travel arrangements align with the company’s objectives, values, and employee satisfaction.
- Provide on‑call support outside regular business hours, including weekends.
- Degree in hospitality, tourism, or business administration.
- Prior experience as a travel agent, administrative/executive assistant, or scheduler.
- Excellent organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Detail‑oriented with an ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
