Cardinal Ritter Senior Services, a ministry of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Saint Louis, is seeking an Office Manager to join our team.
As the Office Manager for Mother of Perpetual Help (MOPH), you will be the first point of contact for residents, families, and guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A positive attitude is essential, as you represent the community's spirit. This role involves customer service, office management, receptionist oversight, and administrative support for MOPH staff. Must adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
The ideal candidate is passionate about serving individuals in a mission-driven senior services environment.
Greet residents, guests, and families, fostering a welcoming environment. Supervise, schedule, and evaluate receptionists. Manage office supplies, maintenance requests, and front desk operations. Answer calls, direct messages, and maintain the visitor sign-in registry. Prepare menus, newsletters, correspondence, and resident files. Coordinate clergy services for Masses and manage related stipends. Maintain records, petty cash logs, apartment keys, and staff schedules. Assist MOPH staff with tasks, tours, and other administrative needs.
Knowledgeand Experience Requirements
Experience working with senior adults. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; office management experience preferred.
Skills and Competencies RequiredStrong customer service and computer skills. Sociable, reliable, and cooperative, with the ability to multi-task. Team-oriented with good judgment and problem-solving skills.
Resources for Which Accountable Frequent interaction with residents, vendors, visitors, and family members is essential. Collaboration with MOPH staff is required daily. Responsible for a long-term care community of 110+ residents and 40+ staff members. Oversees 3–6 receptionists.
