Lou Fusz Kia is seeking a motivated and skilled Kia Technician to join our growing service team. This role is ideal for a technician who values proper diagnostics, OEM repair procedures, and ongoing training—especially as Kia continues to expand its hybrid and EV lineup.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Kia vehicles in accordance with OEM repair procedures
- Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
- Utilize Kia Diagnostic System (KDS) and other scan tools effectively
- Complete warranty repairs with proper documentation and accuracy
Perform software updates, module programming, and calibrations - Work on gasoline, hybrid, and electric vehicles
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and management
- Participate in ongoing Kia University training
- 2+ years of dealership or professional automotive repair experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to follow OEM service information and repair processes
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Reliable attendance and professional work ethic
- Own basic automotive tools
- Kia certification or prior Kia dealership experience
- ASE Certifications (A1–A8, L1, or L3 a plus)
- Experience with advanced electrical diagnostics, ADAS systems, and hybrid/EV systems
- Missouri State Safety Inspection License (or ability to obtain)
