Program Type: Post-Merger Finance Stabilization (SAP ECC)
Work Model: Onsite / Onshore with 50–100% travel | US Central Time hours
Role SummaryThe EWM Consultant will execute warehouse and inventory stabilization activities within a multi-entity, multi-instance SAP ECC landscape following a merger. The role is accountable for protecting warehouse execution continuity, inventory accuracy, and goods movement integrity during company code consolidation and post-conversion operations.
This is a senior, hands-on execution role requiring direct participation in mock conversions, cutover execution, and post-cutover operational validation.
This is not AMS support and not a greenfield implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Align warehouse organizational structures across merged company codes and instances
- Validate warehouse-to-company code assignments and integration points with MM, SD, and FI
- Ensure continuity of inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes during structural transition
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies impacting financial postings and operational reporting
- Validate open warehouse documents, stock balances, and goods movements during mock conversions
- Validate interface integrity impacting warehouse transactions across integrated systems
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial teams to prevent fulfillment disruption
- Lead warehouse validation checkpoints during conversion cycles and cutover execution
- Support post-cutover stabilization to ensure inventory accuracy and goods movement integrity
- 10–15 years of SAP experience with significant focus on SAP EWM or SAP WM integrated with ECC
- Direct hands‑on participation in 2+ legal entity consolidations, carve‑ins/outs, or post‑merger ERP integrations
- Demonstrated experience stabilizing warehouse processes in multi‑instance or multi‑template SAP environments
- Strong experience with warehouse organizational structures, goods movements, and inventory reconciliation
- Experience validating stock balances and financial integration during period‑end close
- Experience supporting warehouse‑related interfaces and batch processes during integration efforts
- Participation in mock conversion cycles and cutover weekends in live production environments
- Experience operating in imperfect data conditions requiring pragmatic resolution
- Understands operational and inventory risk during structural consolidation
- Quickly identifies process breakdowns that could disrupt fulfillment
- Protects inventory accuracy and financial posting integrity under compressed timelines
- Communicates effectively with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership
- Maintains high accountability during conversion and post-cutover stabilization
- Multi‑entity stabilization within a multi‑instance SAP landscape
