The Inside Project Manager (IPM) is responsible for controlling communication, documentation, and financial coordination for all assigned projects. The IPM ensures that each project is properly set up, consistently updated, and professionally communicated so that Project Managers, Estimators, Operations, Accounting, and Business Development can perform efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and document projects thoroughly prior to production launch
  • Maintain accurate, real-time project tracking in SM8
  • Serve as the primary communication liaison for clients, project managers, and referral partners
  • Provide administrative support to Project Managers while preserving field ownership
  • Coordinate contracts, documentation, inspections, scheduling, materials, and change orders
  • Proactively manage financial documentation and partner with Accounts Receivable to protect cash flow
  • Deliver consistent client updates to drive satisfaction, retention, and referrals
  • Oversee project closeout, including final inspections, Certificate of Satisfaction, and payment collection
Position Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in insurance, restoration, reconstruction, or related construction industry
  • Working knowledge of insurance claims process, supplements, and adjuster communication preferred
  • Proficiency in CRM/project management software (SM8 experience a plus)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Strong administrative and project coordination experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset
  • High school diploma/GED required, Associate's degree preferred
Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies
This is a sedentary role in a fast-paced office environment. Some filing is required which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bending or standing as necessary. Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
