Summary and ResponsibilitiesThe Housekeeper reports directly to the Community Manager. You are responsible for overall cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of the community and positively represent DMA.
- Work with Community Manager to ensure organizational goals are met while adhering to DMA community standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to meet quality standards for all common areas, vacant and model units.
- Report all safety hazards to the Community Manager immediately.
- Clean all vacant units monthly; clean models weekly.
- Track supplies and notify the Community Manager when inventory is low.
- Work with Community Manager to repair or order cleaning equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience as a housekeeper or janitorial position.
- Ability to prioritize work, organize tasks, and handle all with a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong attention to detail.
- General knowledge of computers and email.

- Valid Texas Driver’s License required.
Physical activity may involve prolonged standing, walking, reaching, bending, crouching, stooping, and laying. Use of cleaning tools and chemicals will be required, including lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds. Work both indoors and outdoors; may be exposed to inclement weather and hazardous chemicals. Personal protective equipment such as goggles, gloves, safety boots may be required.
