As a Nutritionist in our Technical Application Group (TAG), you'll play a critical role in developing and implementing nutritional solutions for both existing and new pet food products. With your expertise, you'll enhance product formulations, ensuring they meet nutritional standards and regulatory requirements.
+ Assist in the formulation of new pet food recipes and improve existing products, ensuring compliance with set nutritional standards and regulations
+ Conduct thorough research and analysis on pet nutrition, ingredient functionality, and market trends to support product development and formulation efforts
+ Analyze product performance data and consumer feedback, providing actionable insights for product improvements and innovations
+ Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure all nutritional claims and product labels are accurate and adhere to relevant regulations
+ Participate in palatability testing and digestibility studies, gathering feedback and making recommendations for adjustments to formulations as needed
+ Support senior nutritionists in coordinating projects, technical documentation, and communication with internal stakeholders, including marketing, research, and development teams
+ Maintain the latest industry knowledge regarding regulations, nutritional guidelines, and best practices to inform contributions to product development
** Requirements*
* + Master's degree in animal nutrition, animal science, food science, or a related field
+ 1+ years of experience in pet food nutrition, food development, or related discipline
The approximate pay range for this position is $70,510 to $99,450. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
