Long Term Ongoing Contract Overview
We are seeking an experienced Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Consultant to assess and document emergency response and recovery procedures across our facilities. This individual will work directly with leadership, IT, operations, and other key stakeholders to identify potential disruptions and develop practical, documented plans for responding to and recovering from those events.
Key Responsibilities- Meet with factory and operational leaders to understand critical processes, systems, and dependencies.
- Identify potential business disruption scenarios, including power outages, major internet/network outages, system failures, facility disruptions, and other emergencies.
- Facilitate discussions around “What do we do if this happens?” and document the appropriate response and recovery procedures.
- Assess current disaster recovery, business continuity, and emergency response processes and identify gaps.
- Document critical personnel, systems, vendors, equipment, facilities, and processes required to maintain or restore operations.
- Develop clear, actionable disaster recovery and business continuity plans for each facility.
- Establish escalation procedures, communication protocols, recovery priorities, and defined responsibilities.
- Coordinate with IT, Operations, Facilities, Security, and business leaders to ensure plans are practical and aligned with operational requirements.
- Help establish recovery objectives and procedures for critical business functions.
