Content and Data Analyst

TOPS Products is seeking a Content and Data Analyst to support the ongoing quality and integrity of product information. Based in St. Louis, MO (onsite), this role focuses on analyzing data across multiple systems, resolving content and data discrepancies, and improving processes that affect downstream customer and business experiences.

• Analyze product and content data across multiple systems to spot discrepancies, trends, and data-quality risks
  .
• Investigate complex product-information issues independently and determine or recommend appropriate resolutions.
• Conduct data audits and reconcile information across Microsoft D365
  , internal databases, ecommerce platforms, customer systems, and Excel
  .
• Identify root causes behind recurring data issues and recommend process and control improvements.
• Create reports, dashboards, trackers, and analytical tools to support business decisions.
• Review new-item and product-change information for completeness, accuracy, and downstream impact
  .
• Interpret customer product-data requirements and propose solutions that balance customer needs and business requirements
  .
• Evaluate ecommerce, catalog, proof, and customer-facing product information for accuracy and quality.
• Act as a product-content and data-quality resource for cross-functional partners.
• Recommend improvements to product-data standards, processes, workflows, and governance.
• Independently manage assigned data and content initiatives and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to apply independent judgment when investigating and resolving business or data issues.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis capabilities.
• Experience identifying trends, reconciling data, performing root-cause analysis
  , and building recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage priorities and projects
  .
• Preferred: experience with Microsoft D365
