Job Summary

The Aftercare Co‑Director supervises students in grades PreK–8 during the after‑school program, ensuring their safety, engagement, and well‑being. The co‑director helps maintain a structured routine that may include homework time, enrichment activities, outdoor play, and quiet time. This position requires strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and families.

Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise and engage students during after‑school hours in a safe, nurturing environment.
  • Maintain consistent routines and expectations that support positive behavior.
  • Assist students with homework or quiet academic activities as needed.
  • Plan or facilitate age‑appropriate games, crafts, and enrichment activities.
  • Monitor attendance and ensure students are dismissed only to authorized adults.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff.
  • Uphold the mission and values of All Saints Catholic School.
  • Ensure all program spaces are clean, organized, and used responsibly.
  • Follow school policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
Job Requirements
  • Experience working with children in a school, camp, or childcare setting preferred.
  • Ability to supervise groups of students with patience, consistency, and care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependability and professionalism in attendance and conduct.
  • Willingness to support the Catholic identity and values of the school.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
