Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our healthcare construction team based in St. Louis, Missouri
, with regional travel to nearby states depending on project needs
. This role will focus on ground-up additions, renovations, and remodels in active/occupied hospital environments
, requiring strong field leadership, planning, and coordination with hospital staff.

• Lead day-to-day field operations on healthcare construction projects
• Supervise ground-up additions and renovation work in occupied hospital environments
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and daily site activities
• Develop and maintain short- and long-term project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager
• Enforce jobsite safety, infection control, and hospital-specific protocols
• Coordinate work with hospital facilities teams to minimize disruption to operations
• Conduct daily jobsite walks and lead subcontractor coordination meetings
• Maintain quality control and ensure work is completed per plans and specifications
• Manage punch lists, inspections, and project closeout activities
• Travel to regional job sites as required

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Proven experience with hospital or healthcare construction
  , including occupied facilities
• Experience with ground-up additions and/or major renovations strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of healthcare requirements such as ICRA, interim life safety measures, and project phasing
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel regionally as projects require
