Overview

Traveling Lead Superintendent - Groundup Hotel Construction - Highrise Concrete. This is a traveling position overseeing construction from the field and driving the schedule for project completion on ground-up hotel construction.

• Coordinating and supervising all construction activities.
• Directing all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
• Reading and understanding construction documents, including plans, specifications, and contracts.
• Coordinating with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors.
• Ensuring all construction work is carried out in accordance with design development and construction documents.
• Maintaining job site control, including layout, safety, and quality control.
• Resolving day-to-day problems on the job site, ensuring the project is kept on schedule.
• Preparing, scheduling, and supervising completion of final punch list.
• Promoting job site safety, encouraging safe work practices, and rectifying job site hazards immediately.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
• A proven track record of successfully completed high-rise, concrete projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and understanding of building materials, construction equipment, and tools.
• Proficient in reading and understanding construction documents, including plans, specifications, and contracts.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel frequently and for extended periods.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of construction health and safety regulations.
• A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred but not required.
