Experienced Associate, Construction Advisory

Job Responsibilities

• Review and extract required data out of construction contracts and complete the Contract Info sheet.
• Utilize customized software or AI tool to check for duplicate invoices and labor/material charges and markups within payment applications.
• Track Schedule of Values (SOV) for each assigned project in an Excel spreadsheet.
• Assist with reviews of construction bid packages, proposals, amendments, and contracts.
• Assist with the review of change orders.
• Assist with in-process and closeout transactional cost and billings reviews of payment applications and supporting documentation.
• Assist in identifying cost avoidance and recoveries.
• Assist in the preparation of written reports and/or presentations to project owners/developers.
• Possess knowledge of construction.
• May participate in other advisory engagements.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Construction Management, Accounting, or a related field, or at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction management, construction project controls, or construction cost control.
• Strong background in software used in the service line, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power
  
  BI, Co‑Pilot, and Adobe Acrobat PDF.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Construction certifications such as CCA, CCP, PMP, CPA, or CIA.
• Master’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with Data Snipper and Alteryx.
