Job Summary We are seeking experienced Shop Foremen and Construction Foremen to lead crews, coordinate daily operations, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong communication skills, the ability to manage personnel, and a willingness to work alongside your team when needed.
Candidates may come from construction, fabrication, manufacturing, structural steel, industrial, commercial, utility, concrete, or related industries.
Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of field or shop personnel
Assign work, monitor productivity, and ensure quality standards are metRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
Coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower requirements
Conduct safety meetings and enforce company safety procedures
Monitor project timelines and communicate progress to management
Train and mentor employees on proper work practices
Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems in real time Maintain accurate job documentation and reporting
Ensure projects are completed on time and within company standards
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Foreman, Leadman, Supervisor, or Crew Leader Strong leadership and team management abilities
Experience coordinating multiple employees and subcontractors
Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings preferred
Knowledge of construction methods, fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial operations
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to work overtime as needed
