Because of their continued growth, a General Contractor in your area is seeking a Commercial Construction Lead Estimator to join their team. • Lead Estimator is responsible for providing leadership and management to assigned projects safely, profitably, and timely.
• Manage bids consistently with standards of quality and integrity and participate in the marketing, estimating, bidding, and contract negotiation phases of the projects assigned.
• Work on several potential projects valued between $10-250m.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and expertise by defining, implementing, and monitoring department estimating resources, guidelines, best practices, and procedures.
• Coordinate with a team and senior management to grow the business in line with the firm s strategic direction.
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of submissions.
• Establish team assignments and identify estimating review dates.
• Oversee and support several projects from an operational, financial, and resource standpoint.

• Degree educated in the commercial construction industry or discipline is highly preferred.
• Experienced in negotiating bids on new build projects.
• Strong portfolio of previous work in the relevant sectors.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of different construction methods, planning, scheduling, and sequencing.
