Summary DescriptionThe Procurement Manager is responsible for leading sourcing, purchasing, and vendor relationship strategies for concrete, rebar, and related construction materials. This role partners closely with preconstruction, operations, and field teams to ensure cost‑effective, timely, and high‑quality material procurement. The position requires strong industry knowledge, supplier negotiation expertise, and the ability to build and maintain strategic vendor relationships that support project success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute procurement strategies for concrete, rebar, and related materials across multiple projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and reliable delivery
- Collaborate with preconstruction and estimating teams to provide accurate material pricing and market insights
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements to optimize cost, quality, and schedule performance
- Monitor market trends, material availability, and pricing fluctuations to proactively mitigate risk
- Coordinate with project teams to align procurement schedules with construction timelines
- Evaluate vendor performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Support business development and sales efforts by leveraging supplier relationships and market expertise

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of procurement, purchasing, or preconstruction experience in concrete construction or related industry
- Strong knowledge of concrete materials, rebar, and construction supply markets
- Proven experience in vendor negotiations, contract management, and cost analysis
- Experience supporting preconstruction teams with budgeting and estimating inputs
- Sales or client‑facing experience, particularly in concrete materials or construction services, strongly preferred
- Established relationships with suppliers and vendors within the concrete and rebar market preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Drives results through strategic sourcing and cost management
- Builds strong internal and external relationships
- Demonstrates sound judgment and decision‑making
- Communicates effectively across teams and stakeholders
- Leads with accountability and ownership
- Promotes collaboration between procurement, preconstruction, and operations
Salary Range: Competitive Annual Salary based on qualifications, skills, training, experience, and location.
Discretionary Annual Bonus: Subject to company performance and individual contribution.
