Traveling Carpenter Foreman

Traveling Foreman – Civil ConstructionOur Civil Group is seeking an experienced Traveling Foreman to join our team. This role supports civil construction operations only and is best suited for a hands-on leader with strong field experience and the ability to self-perform work.
We are an IBEW contractor; however, this is not a lineman position, and no electrical work is performed.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and support field crew members, including carpenters and laborers, while assisting with overall project operations
- Support site leadership in executing daily work activities safely and efficiently
- Assist with project site logistics planning and work closely with the Project Manager on construction methods and sequencing
- Coordinate daily work plans, labor, and equipment needs
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with owners, subcontractors, and vendors
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Coordinate with supervisory staff, engineers, and inspectors to resolve construction challenges and improve work methods
- 5+ years of related experience on large-scale civil, transmission, energy, or similar construction projects
- Proven self-perform experience in civil construction
- Strong leadership and crew supervision skills
- Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word is a plus
- OSHA 30-hour Card preferred
- IBEW membership required
- Work includes concrete flatwork for substations, drilled shafts, and general civil and infrastructure projects
- Employment is subject to the terms of the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement
- All candidates must complete a selection assessment and pre-employment drug screening
