The Position

We are looking for a Foreman with a background in Bridge Construction Piledriving responsible for accurate reporting of materials, equipment, hours, and for the management and safety of the personnel on the crew, as well as public safety and regulatory compliance.

  • Coordinating and supervising activities of one or more crews for construction of a project.
  • Allotting crews to their respective duties and ensuring they have the appropriate training and tools to execute their jobs accurately.
  • Assessing the most efficient way to complete a job without sacrificing safety or quality.

The Location
  • Projects will vary by location, so reliable transportation and willingness to travel to any job site as needed.
  • The primary focus of this project is located in Hannibal, MO (Northeast Missouri).
The Candidate
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • Punctual and dependable.
  • Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
  • Able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions and in dirty and dusty environments.
  • Member of a Local Carpenters/Piledriver Union, or willingness to become a union member is required. Union membership is not required prior to employment; HR can assist.
  • Prior bridge construction experience and/or construction experience.
  • General knowledge of templates, pile driving equipment, rigging and signaling, cutting torches, welding, and drilling.
  • Experienced in installing piles of all sizes and dimensions, on or near water, including pipe piles, H piles, and sheet piles.
