Construction Project Manager - St. Louis, Missouri
Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 per year
Job OverviewA well‑established, full‑service construction management and general contracting firm seeks an experienced project manager to lead projects from start to finish, ensuring client satisfaction and high‑quality delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Serve as the initial point of contact with clients to assess project scope and required resources
- Prepare complete and accurate project estimates, including review of specifications, drawings, takeoffs, and contracts
- Oversee total construction efforts to ensure projects are delivered according to design, budget, and schedule
- Coordinate with clients, architects/engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise on‑site functions such as scheduling, engineering, and material control
- Provide leadership and oversight to superintendents and subcontractors as required
- Offer technical guidance, interpret drawings, recommend construction methods and equipment, and manage change orders
- Ensure productivity, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual compliance
- Prepare monthly project status reports, including cost forecasts and progress updates
- Lead pre‑construction efforts when assigned, providing guidance and direction to the team
- Maintain organized and accurate project documentation
- Manage administrative responsibilities including contracts, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, and correspondence
- Maintain responsibility for overall project profitability
- Prepare and coordinate all required project closeout documentation
- Partner closely with site leadership to coordinate daily trade activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
