Construction Manager
St. Louis, Missouri | Full-Time | On-Site Position
Summary:
The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing construction work from planning through execution. The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction leader who can drive safe execution, manage cost and schedule performance, coordinate with engineering and procurement teams, and build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and field personnel. This role plays a key part in ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with all quality and client requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of industrial construction experience, preferably within mechanical, process, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical, consumer products, power, or heavy industrial environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing industrial construction activities and coordinating multiple work fronts simultaneously.
- Experience with shutdowns, turnarounds, maintenance projects, or capital project execution.
- Strong understanding of construction safety, quality, scheduling, cost control, procurement, and subcontractor management.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, piping isometrics, and construction documents.
- Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Procore, or similar project management software.
- Knowledge of Lean Construction principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience preparing subcontractor bid packages and managing construction contracts.
- Experience supporting industrial maintenance, shutdown, and turnaround environments.
- Familiarity with digital construction tools, construction planning software, and field productivity systems.
