THEWORK:
- You’ll demonstrate project controls expertise gained through experience on large capital projects, with a preference for Utility New Gas Generation projects, and support project teams in the successful planning and execution of assigned projects.
- You’ll develop and maintain integrated project schedules, plans, and WBS structures and apply fundamental scheduling and cost control techniques throughout the project lifecycle.
- You’ll identify, analyze, and document schedule and cost variances between planned, earned, and actual performance and assess potential impacts to project milestones, completion dates, and overall project outcomes.
- You’ll perform schedule analytics to evaluate schedule quality, critical and near-critical paths, progress, contractor performance trends, and compliance with contractual scheduling requirements.
- You’ll work collaboratively in an integrated project environment consisting of client personnel, engineering firms, EPC contractors, OEMs, construction contractors, and other project delivery partners.
- You’ll promote safe behavior and ensure adherence to all applicable safety requirements and project site rules.
- You’ll implement Accenture and client Project Management Standards across cost, schedule, scope, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), risk, change, and reporting to support consistent and predictable project delivery.
- You’ll support Stage Gate reviews by developing and analyzing cost, schedule, progress, risk, and project controls information needed to assess project readiness and performance.
- You’ll analyze contractor schedule and progress data to identify key project issues, validate reported progress, assess performance trends, and support Project Administration and Accounting in the review of contractor invoices.
- You’ll assist in project and portfolio analysis, optimization, and reporting, including assessments of cost, schedule, and risk associated with completing planned scopes of work in alignment with approved budgets and multi-year capital plans.
- You’ll develop project and portfolio performance metrics, dashboards, and reports that provide project leadership with timely visibility into project performance, trends, risks, and emerging issues.
- You may conduct training on client Stage Gate Processes, project management standards and implementation guides, and project controls disciplines such as Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA).
