Position SummaryThe Engineering Summer Intern will support project managers, project engineers, and field teams in the planning, coordination, and execution of steel and precast erection projects. This hands-on internship provides exposure to real-world construction environments, engineering practices, and project management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with reviewing structural drawings and erection plans.
- Support project personnel with layout, measurements, and quality checks.
- Participate in safety meetings and learn about safety protocols.
- Help track project progress, material deliveries, and daily reports.
- Conduct site assessments and assist with inspections and documentation.
- Use Procore software for tasks to support projects .
- Collaborate with project managers, project engineers, foremen, and subcontractors.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Strong interest in general construction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Revit software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in outdoor and active construction environments.
- Real-world experience in steel and precast construction and valuable field experience to better inform engineering decisions.
- Real world communication skills that will better prepare you for life after college.

Salary: $22.00 per hour
