Admissions representative

Description We are looking for an Admissions representative to support a healthcare university in St Louis Earnings Tx, Missouri through a Contract assignment. This on-site role focuses on guiding prospective students through the admissions journey, maintaining accurate applicant records, and delivering responsive service throughout the enrollment process. The position also involves frequent outreach, event participation, and reporting support for enrollment leadership.

Responsibilities:

- Review incoming applications, assess initial eligibility, and identify candidates ready for committee consideration.

- Enter applicant records, submitted materials, and related updates into tracking systems to maintain complete and accurate data.

- Examine prerequisite coursework and supporting documents across multiple platforms to confirm file completeness and compliance.

- Communicate with prospective students about admissions steps, policy guidelines, acceptance procedures, and required next actions.

- Conduct a high volume of outbound phone outreach each day to engage applicants and support progression through the admissions pipeline.

- Represent the institution at recruiting events such as fairs, campus visits, information sessions, webinars, conventions, and orientation activities.

- Compile and analyze enrollment and matriculation data to prepare recurring reports for academic and student success leadership.

- Support university-sponsored events in both virtual and in-person settings, including occasional evening and weekend participation.

- Carry out additional admissions and recruitment-related tasks as needed to support departmental goals. Requirements - Prior experience in admissions, student recruitment, customer-facing sales, or a similar outreach-driven role.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain processes clearly and professionally.

- Proven ability to manage frequent outbound calls while maintaining a high level of service.

- Comfort working with data entry, record maintenance, and document review in multiple software systems.

- Detail-oriented approach to auditing files, verifying requirements, and maintaining accurate information.

- Strong customer service background with the ability to build rapport with prospective students and stakeholders.

- Willingness to attend events and work evenings or weekends when business needs require it. Talent Match®
