Srote & Co Architects | Planners | Interiors is seeking an Interior Designer to join our award-winning team. Our firm in St. Louis,, remains small but has been growing steadily since establishing in 2012, and is a supportive, creative environment where your voice matters.
You’ll work closely with our architects, interior designers, and clients to develop thoughtful, beautiful, and highly detailed interiors - from early concepts through construction and installation. This is hands‑on, client‑facing role for someone who loves both the creative and the practical sides of design.
What You’ll Do- Develop interior design concepts, palettes, and material selections aligned with the overall architectural vision
- Create and manage finish schedules, furniture plans, lighting plans, and specifications
- Prepare design documentation and coordinate with the architectural and construction teams
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and site visits
- Manage vendor relationships, pricing, and procurement
- Support projects from initial concept through construction and final installation

- 3+ years of professional interior design experience (high-end residential experience strongly preferred)
- Strong design sensibility with an eye for proportion, materials, and detail
- Organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once
- Confident working directly with clients and external consultants
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or similar tools
- Curious, collaborative, and kind – ego‑free but confident
