Duties Include:
- Providestrategicspaceutilizationassessments,space planning,andspaceallocation planningtoanticipateandrespondto emerging mission and personnel requirements
- Develop,execute,track,report,andmaintainstrategicspaceplansthroughcompletion andmeetingcustomerrequirementsIAWAgency Master Plansand Strategic Facilities Plans
- Coordinatewithcustomerstoidentifyandresolvespaceand/orseatingrequirements IAW with NGA’s Space Management Policy
- Spaceutilizationanalysisoptimizingworkspaceutilization,ensuringefficientoffice layouts, and implementing strategies that enhance workplace functionality and employee experience
- Developplansforspacemodificationsbyarchitecturalsurveys,gather space requirements, ROM/budgetary estimates for space renovations
- Coordination with BIM/CAD team to read and interpret floor plans, review and commenton
Design Intent Documents (DIDs),andcoordinatewithcustomerstoensure DIDs fully capture the customer’s needs - Conductabi-annualcampuswide,comprehensivefacilitiesaudittoensuretheaccuracy of space data for validation of occupancy levels and harmonize data with automated occupancy tracking systems
- Managecustomerspacerequestsandseatswapagreementsbetweeninternaland external organizations
- Manageandtrackspaceplans,moves,andrelatedprojectsusingIWMSsoftwarefor space management, occupancydataand project coordination
- Strongcustomerserviceskills,problemsolvingskillswithanalyticalskillsandstrong writing and communication skills
- Demonstratedexperiencewith Intelligence Communitymissionsandfunctionsregardingfacilities development and production
- Demonstratedexperienceinunderstanding/interpretingconstructiondrawingsin Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and IT trades
- Demonstratedexperienceinstandardbusinessapplicationsoftwareforpresentations, word processing, and SharePoint-based websites
- Demonstratedexperienceinspaceutilization,includingpracticalapplicationofDOD real estate and space-related standards such as BOMA, andexpertisein performingaccuratesquare footage calculations for space planning,allocation and reporting
- Demonstratedexperienceusingsoftwareapplications,suchas
AutoCAD,REVIT,BIM, and Microsoft Office Suite - ExperienceisusingIWMSsoftwareforspacemanagementandplanning
- Education:
BSorBAin Interior Design ,Interior
Architecturewith7+yearsof Commercial Design experience, or a related field is preferred
