AutoCAD Drafter-Construction Drawings

Servco Equipment Company, located in St. Louis, Missouri, has been building hardworking commercial and institutional food service facilities since 1947. With our in‑house design staff and metal fabrication shop, we specialize in the construction of custom, turnkey facilities for customers of all sizes—including hospitals, corporate offices, hotels, casinos, and correctional facilities.

We’re hiring an AutoCAD Drafter / Submittal Designer to create detailed submittal (approval) drawings for custom commercial kitchen equipment and conveyor systems. This role supports the customer approval process prior to fabrication, ensuring drawings meet project requirements, field dimensions, and applicable standards.

This position is ideal for someone who is creative, self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable collaborating in a team environment with design, project, and shop personnel.

• Create detailed submittal/approval drawings for custom commercial kitchen equipment and conveyors.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ensure customer specifications and project requirements are met.
• Confirm overall dimensions for fit and function in field locations.
• Ensure parts and assemblies can be produced with tooling used in the manufacturing environment.
• Organize, complete, and maintain project files and documentation for production.

• Ensure drawings meet customer requirements and specifications.
• Support compliance with relevant health department rules and regulations.

• Proficiency using AutoCAD to read and develop technical drawings.
• Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and specifications.

• 1+ years of Autodesk AutoCAD experience;
  Revit and/or Inventor is a plus.
• Knowledge or experience with sheet metal fabrication and welding.
• General knowledge of construction trades, including electrical and plumbing coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word).
• Relevant technical education (certificate, associate degree, or comparable coursework) may substitute for experience.
