Senior Branch Real Estate Designer
With more than 15,000 branch locations across North America, Branch Real Estate (BRE) plays a critical role in creating and maintaining the environments where our financial advisors serve clients every day. By overseeing leasing, construction, design, and facilities support, BRE helps ensure branch teams have functional, welcoming spaces that enable them to focus on what matters most: helping clients achieve their financial goals.
As a Senior Branch Real Estate Designer, you'll help define and elevate the branch experience across the firm. Working closely with our Design Capability Leader and Cushman & Wakefield partners, you'll lead the execution of branch design standards, support major firm initiatives, and drive innovative workplace solutions that enhance both the advisor and client experience. This is a unique opportunity to influence the design of thousands of branch locations while collaborating with key stakeholders to bring impactful, scalable solutions to life.
What You Will Do :
- Partner with internal design teams and key stakeholders to support strategic firm initiatives and ensure branch real estate solutions align with current and future business objectives.
- Collaborate with Branch Real Estate Consultants and field leaders to develop innovative design solutions for programs such as Shared Real Estate and Teaming branch offices.
- Provide direction to Cushman & Wakefield design partners to ensure consistency with firm standards, brand guidelines, and strategic priorities.
- Deliver customized design recommendations for branch offices, including solutions for high-performing and complex advisor practices.
- Evaluate branch space, furniture, equipment, and workplace design needs, recommending enhancements that improve functionality and the associate and client experience.
- Monitor industry and workplace design trends to identify opportunities that enhance branch performance and support evolving business needs.
- Serve as a champion for change, promoting Edward Jones brand standards, design principles, and workplace strategies across the field.
- Exercise sound judgment and independent decision-making while influencing stakeholders and driving successful adoption of real estate and design initiatives.
* This position is known internally as Senior Facilities Designer
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Environmental Design, or a related field required; NCIDQ certification preferred.
- 5+ years of architectural or interior design experience with demonstrated expertise in workplace, retail, or branch office design.
- Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office, with the ability to create, review, redline, and approve construction drawings and design documentation.
- Strong knowledge of design and construction practices, including building codes, ADA requirements, life safety standards, space planning, budgets, and building systems.
- Proven project management experience leading multiple concurrent projects, managing priorities, and delivering results on time and within budget.
- Exceptional collaboration, communication, and influencing skills, with experience partnering with vendors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to develop innovative design solutions and drive successful outcomes.
