Job Grade:

Responsible for generating customer and production drawings for use in the proposal and manufacturing processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are not limited to:

• Create construction drawings, 3D models, and electrical schematics in Solid Works as required
• Produce timely and accurate drawings and submittals in accordance with company standards and customer specifications
• Provide full and accurate material lists to project management and purchasing
• Create, and maintain 3D model, and 2D drawing libraries
• Effectively communicate with sales, project management, production, and supervision concerning technical functional questions
• Work together with all departments to provide excellent customer experience
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Associates degree or combination of education and work experience in a similar position and/or discipline. BS Degree preferred. Skillful in Solid Works 3D software. 3 years' experience in drafting required. Experience in reading construction drawings preferred. Strong attention to detail is a must.

Strong computer skills including:
Solid Works, Quick Books, Microsoft Excel (VBA experience a plus), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and ACT!

Ability to read and interpret working drawings and specifications. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Skilled communications.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Knowledge of basic electrical calculation, applicable codes and standards, rules and regulations.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to determine alternate project scopes.
