Mercy Hospital St. Louis is in need of a Neuro Hospitalist who is Board Certified in Neurology or Vascular Neurology. Fellowship required. Active MO license is required.

Coverage needed for following shifts:
Jan 4 to 10
Jan 18 to 24
Feb 15 to 21
March 15 to 21
March 29 to April 4
April 12 to 18
April 26 to May 2
May 10 to 16
May 24 to 30
June 7 to 13

Covid and flu vaccine required

Schedule:

7 am on 7 pm off
All bedside shifts
Seeing acute stroke and general neuro consults in hospital
Locums must have experience treating stroke patients and will not be the primary attending but work as a consult service
NO night time call
Thrombectomy capable Stroke Center with Joint commission with two interventional radiologists to treat stroke
Honors through AHA:
Gold Plus with Target Stroke Elite Plus Honor Roll, Target Stroke Advanced Therapy Honor Roll
Will have a NP to help on majority of shifts.
Nurse stroke coordinators will help with acute stroke patients in the Emergency room.
Will work with another team of a Neurohospitalist and NP on all shifts and dividing the duties for seeing consults between the teams.
