Psychiatrist Hospitalist – Mercy Hospital South, St. Louis, MO
Mercy Psychiatry is currently seeking a board certified or board eligible Psychiatric Hospitalist to join our practice at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO. Our team consists of 15 physicians, 2 advanced practitioners, and engaged support staff focused on quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities and Scope of Practice- 24‑hour evaluation
- Psychological and psycho‑educational testing
- Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT)
- Free, confidential evaluations for anyone with a concern about a psychiatric, behavioral or addictive disorder.
- Evaluations and referrals available 24‑hour a day
- A 796‑bed community, the third‑largest medical center in the St. Louis metropolitan area
- Level II Trauma Center with ~80,000 ER visits annually
- Certified Dieticians and Diabetic Educators
- 24/7 Hospitalist Coverage
- Competitive compensation model
