We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Physician Medical Director to lead clinical operations at a state-of-the-art medical center. In this role, you will focus on a balance of patient care and center management, ensuring a collaborative environment that fosters quality outcomes and optimal patient experiences. Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, modeling exceptional clinical and customer service standards.
- Lead and oversee clinical workflows, ensuring alignment with established medical and operational models.
- Monitor and analyze clinical metrics to optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor clinicians and support staff, fostering a collaborative and professional working environment.
- Partner with leadership to drive continuous quality improvement and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Engage with center clients and payers to maintain strong relationships and address concerns promptly.
- Ensure the use of clinical systems for efficient documentation, coding, and charge capture.
- Actively contribute to team meetings to improve patient safety, clinical outcomes, and business growth.
- Participate in talent development, recruitment, and performance management for clinicians and staff.
- Support financial and operational planning to meet center business goals.
- MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification/Eligibility (Occupational Medicine experience preferred but not required).
- Active and unrestricted medical license and DEA license in the state of jurisdiction.
- Eligibility to participate in Medicare.
- Preferred experience in Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or related fields.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
