Psychiatrist, Healthcare Consultant
- Licensed Physician/Surgeon in good standing in the State of Missouri
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Completion of accredited Psychiatry residency
- DEA and BNDD registration
- Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment (including UPIN)
- Minimum of two (2) years of Psychiatry experience
- Strong clinical, consultation, documentation, and team collaboration skills
- Experience in urban healthcare settings
- Active membership and participation in professional psychiatric organizations
This full-time Psychiatry position provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and both formal and informal behavioral health consultations. The Psychiatrist supports outpatient services, provides emergency coverage during contracted hours, facilitates hospital admissions when necessary, and assists patients, particularly indigent populations, with access to medication assistance programs.
In addition to direct patient care, this role includes supervisory and program leadership responsibilities. The
Psychiatrist collaborates closely with the Behavioral Health team, supports Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) initiatives, and participates in quality improvement and program development efforts.
Responsibilities include completing disability documentation, referring patients to community resources, conducting supervisory meetings, monitoring staff performance and education, and ensuring optimized clinic coverage and compliance with program standards.
Schedule options:- Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
- Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
- Competitive hourly compensation: $94.05–$141.07/hour ($195,000–$293,000 annually equivalent)
