Monday Friday Day Shift (8:00 4:30 or 9:00 5:00)

Role Overview

We re seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric care in an outpatient-focused setting with consultative support across behavioral health services.

This role offers predictable weekday hours, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an urban healthcare setting.

What You ll Do

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management
• Provide behavioral health consultations (formal and curbside )
• Deliver emergency psychiatric services during scheduled clinic hours
• Facilitate inpatient psychiatric hospitalizations when clinically indicated
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and medication plans
• Assist patients with access to medication assistance programs
• Coordinate care with behavioral health teams and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) services
• Complete disability evaluations and required clinical documentation
• Refer patients to appropriate community and vocational resources
• Participate in program development, policy creation, and quality improvement initiatives
• Provide clinical supervision, feedback, and staff development support

Required Qualifications:

• MD or DO with active Missouri medical license
• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program
• Current DEA and BNDD registration
• Medicare and Medicaid enrollment (or eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of Psychiatry experience

Preferred:

• Experience or strong interest in urban healthcare settings
• Active participation in professional psychiatric organizations
