About RoleThe selected candidate will join a well-established neurology practice in St. Louis County, primarily focused on outpatient care. The position is designed for Board Eligible/Board Certified Neurologists with interests in General Neurology and fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology, Neuromuscular Disease, or Headache Medicine.
This role offers a Monday–Friday outpatient schedule with no weekend or inpatient responsibilities, supported by a light outpatient call structure. Physicians will have opportunities to interpret EEG and EMG studies while working within a fully integrated health system utilizing Epic EMR. The environment emphasizes collaborative practice, clinical excellence, and access to advanced neuroscience resources.
About Hiring FirmMercy Hospital St. Louis is a 979-bed, fully accredited teaching hospital and the only Level I Trauma Center in St. Louis County. Operated under the broader Mercy Health system, the hospital supports a 24/7 Neurohospitalist program, advanced neuroimaging services with five neuro-radiologists, and a dedicated neuroscience floor. Responsibilities- Provide outpatient-focused neurological care
- Diagnose and manage general neurology cases
- Interpret EEG and EMG studies
- Participate in light outpatient call coverage
- Collaborate with neurohospitalists, neurosurgeons, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation within Epic EMR
- Contribute to quality improvement and patient-centered care initiatives
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology
- Fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology, Neuromuscular Disease, or Headache Medicine (preferred)
- Eligibility for Missouri medical licensure
- Commitment to outpatient-focused neurological practice
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
