Job Description
** POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP IN AGING at
** Washington University in St. Louis, Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences, will be available as early as May 2026 with some flexibility in the appointment start date. Fellowships, sponsored by the National Institute on Aging, are for 1 to 3 years and are designed to train psychologists for academic and research careers in the psychology of aging. Our postdoctoral training program provides trainees the opportunity for high-quality mentored research, course work, seminars and workshops with experts in the areas of cognitive and brain changes in aging, personality and socio-emotional aging, lifespan development, and translational impact.

Fellows carry out their own research under the supervision of a faculty preceptor and a mentoring committee and have access to travel and training-related funds. See our  for specific current faculty interests. Prior training in aging is not required of applicants. Fellows must be citizens, noncitizen nationals, or permanent residents of the United States.
