Position: (Priority Listing) Grades Lead Teacher
Location: St. Louis

Beginning in the 26/27 school year, our Lead Grades Teacher will bring students the fullness and richness of life through their curriculum. Applicants should be open to teaching combined grade levels in a supportive team environment. If you have a passion for teaching, a willingness to work collaboratively with others, and want to teach curious, imaginative students who participate in their learning, we welcome you to apply.

Lead Grades teacher candidates will have either:

  • a bachelor’s degree in education or another field, with a desire to teach

AND

  • In the process of working towards completion of the Waldorf Teacher Training or have a Waldorf Teacher Certificate
  • Experience working with children
  • Commitment to continued training and education in the realm of Waldorf Education
  • Willingness to renew traditional Waldorf curriculum through DEIJ perspective and consciousness.
  • Positive and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work supportively and in collaboration with colleagues

Candidates should also be willing to learn about Waldorf education. Various Waldorf education trainings exist, and some of these trainings may be paid for by the school, up to 50%.
