Early Childhood Teacher Assistant

At Torah Prep Early Childhood, we are dedicated to each child and to fostering a nurturing environment that promotes curiosity and exploration. We are seeking loving, dedicated, and positive individual to join our dynamic team.
Our school is open from End of August until mid June. Conveniently located in University City, Missouri. This is a 10-month position.

Position: Full-Time or Part Time

Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in delivering curriculum and facilitating activities based on students' interests.

• Maintain a safe and inviting indoor and outdoor environment for exploration and play.

• Communicate effectively with team members, families, and school administration.

• Support students' educational and social/emotional development.

• Implement safety procedures and contribute to a positive classroom atmosphere.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with families, teachers, and community partners.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children.

• Passion for early childhood education and understanding of child development.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

• A sense of humor and appreciation for the developmental joys of young children.

Requirements:

• Background in early childhood education with early childhood experience preferred.

• Willingness to obtain DESE credentials, including CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days.

• Ability to actively engage with children, including kneeling, bending, running, and sitting on the floor.

• Pass a background check.

• Eligibility to work in the United States.
