Early Childhood Assistant Guide (Montessori School)

We are seeking a caring, dedicated Early Childhood Assistant Guide to support our Montessori classroom community and help deliver high‑quality, student‑centered learning experiences. This role works closely with the Lead Guide and School Principal to support an instructional program grounded in Montessori philosophy and anti‑bias/anti‑racist education.

• Support the Lead Guide in delivering Montessori‑based instruction
• Assist individual students and small groups with classroom activities
• Help maintain a calm, organized, and welcoming Montessori classroom environment
• Observe and support student behavior and development
• Prepare instructional materials and assist with lesson implementation
• Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, and specials (PE, music, art)
• Model respectful, professional, and ethical behavior at all times

• Degree in education, early childhood development, or related field preferred
• At least one year of experience working with children (special needs experience preferred)
• Commitment to whole‑child education and student‑centered learning
• Strong alignment with anti‑bias and anti‑racist values
• Flexible, patient, and collaborative
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
