QualificationsLead Grades teacher candidates will have either:
- A bachelor’s degree in education or another field, with a desire to teach
AND
- Waldorf Teacher Training certificate or in the process of working towards completion of the Waldorf Teacher Training
- Experience working with children
- Commitment to continued training and education in the realm of Waldorf Education
- Willingness to renew traditional Waldorf curriculum through DEIJ perspective and consciousness.
- Positive and effective communication skills
- Ability to work supportively and in collaboration with colleagues
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Candidates should also be willing to learn about Waldorf education. Various Waldorf education trainings exist, and some of these trainings may be paid for by the school, up to 50%.
Pay:
From $35,000.00 per year. Salary is based on background, qualifications, and years of experience.
