We’re looking for private music instructors who share Taylor Robinson Music’s philosophy of learning to play from the heart. In this independent contractor role, you’ll provide voice lessons to students primarily in-person and occasionally via webcam.

• Conduct private music lessons (voice) in students’ homes, your own home, studio, or via webcam.
• Set and maintain your own teaching schedule and lesson plans.
• Communicate regularly with the office to schedule lessons, update lesson plans, and discuss student progress.
• Adhere to local COVID‑19 safety guidelines: wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing when appropriate.
• Transport students within the Saint Louis, MO area as needed.

• Experience teaching voice or a music discipline (professional performing experience, teaching experience, or enrollment in a music program).
• Either a degree in music or significant formal music training.
• Excellent organization, punctuality, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage self‑employment responsibilities.
• Comfort with traveling to students’ homes or a local studio.

You will be paid on an independent contractor basis at $20 to $30 per hour, commensurate with travel time, experience, and student retention. Marketing, advertising, and billing are handled by Taylor Robinson Music.
